A few weeks later, he took back-to-back victories at the Parádsasvár hillclimb round of the Mobil1 Opel Astra Classic Cup. By the end of his maiden season, he achieved a total four wins, the 5th place in the drivers’ overall classification and the Rookie of the Year award.

For the 2006 season, he moved up to the Shell V-Power Racing Renault Clio Cup and he claimed a total 10 victories and two podium finishes. Norbert joined Coloni Motorsport for a Formula 3 test at the Hungaroring before winning the Renault Clio Cup with a race to go before the end of the season.
